Anna Heydenrych
Senior web design, without the overhead.
Thoughtful websites that work beautifully and communicate clearly, for start-ups, established businesses and agencies worldwide.
I've been designing and building websites for more than 20 years, helping businesses turn complex information and big ideas into clear, professional online experiences. I combine strategy, design, development and content to create websites that look good, work the way they should and make your business easier to understand. Based in South Africa, working with businesses and agencies in the US, Canada, UK, UAE and Australia.
My Work
AFDA
South Africa
A long-term web development project for AFDA, South Africa's leading School for the Creative Economy. My role included front-end development, UX improvements, content management, custom WordPress functionality, and ongoing technical support across a complex, high-traffic website.
Ivory House Collection
Zimbabwe
Ivory House Collection is a luxury hospitality brand offering a curated collection of boutique accommodation experiences. I redesigned and rebuilt the website from the ground up, creating a more intuitive user experience, clearer messaging, and a refined visual identity that better reflects the quality of the brand and its properties.
A Life Untold
Australia
A Life Untold helps people preserve and share meaningful life stories through beautifully printed keepsake books. I worked closely with the founder on a full site redesign, translating his product and growth vision into a clear, considered online experience that builds trust for a deeply personal purchase, while laying the groundwork to support the business as it scales.
Every website I build starts with a conversation. I work closely with you from the first idea to launch, so your website lines up with your business goals and keeps working for you long after it goes live

Fast, creative, and highly responsive
Working with Anna was a pleasure. She is fast, creative, and highly responsive to any changes or updates we needed. Despite the scope evolving slightly from the original brief, she stuck to her originally quoted price. She delivered a website better than what we had anticipated! If you’re looking for someone who just gets things done, Anna is great. Highly recommend.

Anna was able to clearly and thoroughly guide us
Before working with Anna, we had a vague idea of what we wanted as a redesign. Anna was able to clearly and thoroughly guide us and establish the best design based on our feedback. We are delighted with the work she provided and her communication skills, professionalism, and great patience. We plan to hire her again for other design needs
